Ipek’s List of Top 25 Leadership Book

There are many lists floating around about people’s favorite leadership books. As many of you know I have a unique perspective about this topic. Given my belief that leaders need greater relational and creative capacities to navigate in today’s world, I decided to join the ranks and create a list myself.
As you’ll notice, this is not a typical leadership book list. But these are not typical times. This list includes those books with ideas most relevant to a new kind of leadership that we need in today’s conceptual era. This is an age where each day can bring unimaginable circumstances, where our previous experience and analytic prowess no longer suffice in meeting current and future demands. We need leaders with different capacities than were needed in the knowledge era or the industrial era. We need leaders who can draw out the best in themselves and others, who can be creative and see paths invisible to conventional thinking, and who can cultivate collective intelligence.
